We are convening a group of Aspen UK alumni for a special reunion seminar, at Danesfield House Hotel in Buckinghamshire.
Alumni from three Aspen UK seminars will gather for a day of discussion and debate on the theme ‘Leading out of a crisis’. Participants from a diversity of sectors, backgrounds, and geographies will share their experience of leading their organisations and communities since they last met, before the Covid-19 pandemic. The group will begin their discussions by reflecting on a series of texts, which include extracts by Rutger Bregman, Kwame Anthony Appiah, and Amanda Gorman.
The seminar will be led by Ruth Girardet. Ruth has been moderating Aspen seminars in the UK and Europe since 2013, and has over 20 years of professional experience in corporate responsibility and ethics. She has extensive knowledge of how the corporate and charity sectors can work together to address issues of social justice.
Danesfield House was built in 1901 as a family home for Robert William Hudson. Now a beautiful hotel and spa, the House is located amidst 65 acres of formal gardens with outstanding views over the River Thames and the Chiltern Hills beyond.
