Global IMpact Forum, United kingdom

Connecting the Aspen Institute community across borders, generations, and sectors for action.
Aspen Institute UK, in collaboration with the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN), is proud to launch Global Impact Forum UK, a new residential convening for Aspen Fellows and program alumni across the global Aspen Institute community. Inspired by the AGLN’s Resnick Aspen Action Forum, Global Impact Forum UK will bring together up to 75 leaders for deep reflection, new connections, and meaningful collaboration across geographies, sectors, and generations.

Uniquely hosted in historic Cambridge as a fully residential experience, the programme will combine Aspen Seminar dialogues, action workshops, plenary conversations, and place-based experiences.

Forum timeline

  • Expression of interest form opens – 27 May 2026
  • Priority Expression of Interest deadline – 13 July 2026
  • Confirmations issued on a rolling basis – following 13 July 2026

What to expect

The Forum offers a rare opportunity to connect across Aspen communities that do not often gather together in one place. The multi-day experience is designed to blend reflection, relationship-building, and collaborative problem-solving through a mix of seminars, workshops, and shared experiences.

The programme will include:

Aspen Seminar Dialogues
Moderated, text-based conversations designed to deepen perspective, clarity values, and build trust across difference.

Action Roundtables and Workshops
Collaborative working sessions where participants move from insight to action, testing ideas, forming partnerships, and identifying practical next steps on shared challenges.

Plenary Conversations
Whole group conversations and expert panels exploring leadership, global challenges, and emerging ideas shaping the future.

Connection and Community-Building
Dinners, cultural moments, and unstructured time to build meaningful relationships beyond the formal programme.

Who should apply

We welcome expressions of interest from leaders connected to the Aspen Institute community globally, including Fellows, seminar alumni, and participants in Aspen leadership programs.

This includes Aspen Institute UK Fellows and programme alumni, members of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, and leaders who have participated in Aspen fellowships around the world.

The Forum is designed for values-driven leaders across sectors, geographies, and generations who are committed to leading with integrity, imagination, and impact.

Fees and logistics
Fees and Scholarships

The programme cost is subsidised, thanks to support from the Aspen Institute Center for Leadership, the McNulty Foundation, and our partners. Participants are asked to contribute:

  • £1,200 ticket price – Includes accommodation at Madingley Hall, all meals and refreshments, programme materials, and all Forum activities.

  • £1,000 ticket price without accommodation – Includes meals, programme materials, and all Forum activities, but does not include accommodation at Madingley Hall (which is a 15-minute drive from central Cambridge).

  • Scholarship places – A limited number of scholarship places will be available to support access and ensure diversity of perspective across the Forum.

While scholarship is limited and full funding is not guaranteed, we encourage all who feel called to this experience to indicate interest in attending. If cost is a barrier to participation, please indicate this in the form.

Why attend?
  • Step into a truly global Aspen Institute experience, connecting with Fellows and participants across programmes, countries, and generations.

  • Build lasting relationships with peers who are navigating complexity and seeking to lead with integrity and impact.

  • Experience a new kind of Institute convening in the UK, inspired by the Resnick Aspen Action Forum and shaped by the unique setting of Cambridge.

  • Take part in Aspen Seminar dialogues, action workshops, and shared reflection designed to move from perspective to partnership.

  • Explore Cambridge as a setting for leadership inquiry, culture, history, and convening.

Please note that completing the Expression of Interest form does not confirm registration. The process allows organisers to understand who is interested in attending, manage demand across the Aspen ecosystem, and share next steps with you directly.

Priority consideration will be given to those who submit their Expression of Interest by 13 July 2026.
