Aspen UK’s public engagement programmes bring together people from diverse backgrounds and thought to debate political and social issues and challenge their own and each other’s perspectives.
Our aim is for the conversations we host to continue beyond our convenings, to inspire further engagement and to enact change in the wider world.
Aspen UK’s dynamic slate of events are as wide-ranging as the topics we cover. We host podcasts and webinars, roundtables with public reports, in-person panels and one-on-one interviews. We frequently work in collaboration with other organisations to run specialised events, tailored both for our engaged audience and for those with niche interests.
We invite audiences as diverse, opinionated, and openminded as our speakers to join us for our conversations. We are committed to keeping our events accessible and available and ensure our audiences can participate in the discussions and debates.
‘The webinar had some excellent interlocutors. We each had something to say, and found a way to do so respectfully when we did not agree. We operate in times when this is proving difficult, but such discourse is absolutely vital.’

Panellist, The Future of Israel
UPCOMING EVENTS
‘Well done Aspen UK on convening well-argued, respectful disagreements with your webinars. I feel there’s a real edge to your debates.’
Julie Race
International Relations Consultant
‘A very civilised discussion without being boringly consensual. Aspen is doing exactly the right thing. Too often I am invited to speak on panels where everyone is on the same side. That doesn’t help public understanding. Don’t be afraid of disagreement.’

Award-winning political commentator for The Herald

‘One of the best webinars, possibly the best I have seen in the last month. Interviewing and interaction at its best.’
