Aspen UK is partnering with CogX and the Jo Cox Foundation to host a one-off virtual workshop about tackling abuse online.
CogX is the biggest, most inclusive & forward thinking gathering of leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, policy makers, artists, academics and activists of its kind – addressing the question “How do we get the next 10 years right?” CogX goes virtual 8th to 10th June 2020 and expects over 30,000 participants including 600+ speakers across 18 topic stages and 100+ CogXtra events.
Join Aspen UK with Derek Wyatt, columnist and Founder of the Oxford Internet Institute, and Catherine Anderson, CEO of the Jo Cox Foundation, for a collaborative discussion on tackling abuse in the digital realm. Participants will begin by reading a short text that provides a common starting point for discussion on the role of policy makers and CxOs of small and big tech companies in curbing abusive behaviour online. Against this backdrop, the discussion will ask the question: what values and practices do we want from our leaders in this time of rapid change and innovation?
