Radostin Popov

Moderator

Radostin has spent his entire career in the fields of transportation, infrastructure, energy and global trade. For the last 15 years his main focus has been M&A but before that he has been involved in ship management, shipbuilding, LNG and Renewables, rail transport, distribution and inland waterways. He was born in Bulgaria and has lived in the UK, USA, Russia and the UAE. Having grown up in the sunset years of the Soviet Bloc, and witnessing today the resurgence of nostalgia, he has a keen interest in the nature of power, failure of governance and the mechanisms of propaganda and populism. He has an MA in Linguistics from St Cyril and Methodius University in Bulgaria and an MBA from Oxford University. He is a keen recreational diver, fisherman and boat captain.
