Aspen UK is pleased to be hosting the 2023 Young European Leaders Seminar at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in partnership with Aspen Kyiv.
The seminar will convene a diverse group of 25-35 year olds nominated by Aspen European partners. They will participate in a series of round-table discussions, delving into the most pressing issues that Europe faces today using the unique Aspen method of text-based dialogue.
The seminar will be co-moderated by Aspen UK moderator Ruth Girardet. Ruth has been moderating Aspen seminars in the UK and Europe since 2013 and has over 20 years of professional experience in corporate responsibility and ethics. She has extensive knowledge of how the corporate and charity sectors can work together to address issues of social justice. The seminar is also co-moderated by Aspen Institute Kyiv moderator Andriy Kulakov. Andriy was a participant of the very first Aspen seminar in Ukraine, and has worked primarily in media and civil society spheres as a media manager, PR and communication expert implementing the projects for EU Delegation, USAID, World Bank, UN agencies, NATO.
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is the oldest university in Wales. Its Lampeter campus was founded in 1822 and received its Royal Charter from King George IV in 1828.
