RISING LEADERS FELLOWSHIP > HOW IT WORKS

Programme Structure
The Rising Leaders Fellowship starts with a core two-day virtual seminar and several other activities to support participants’ continued personal and professional development.
Core seminar
- Fellows will be sent pre-seminar reading materials/resources and be given access to Fellowship portal to connect with fellow RLF participants and moderators
- You will attend the two-day virtual seminar. Attendance and participation in the full seminar is a requirement of the Fellowship
Ongoing development
- Fellows will continue to access the RLF portal to remain connected with your cohort
- Participants will be paired with other RLF participants to act as peer mentors
- You will be invited to attend monthly activities and developmental opportunities
- All Fellows will be invited to attend an annual in person Aspen alumni event
“The contacts I made at the Aspen UK seminar made me recognise that neither my age nor my background are a hindrance. I learned how to articulate my beliefs and hold my own with some of the impressive people I have met”
seminars
You will have the opportunity to join one of ten seminars that will run throughout year, with a maximum of 25 participants at each. The seminars will be led by expert moderators who will guide each group through the programme.
Each Fellowship seminar is held exclusively online. The sessions involve two full days of professionally moderated discussions with online group work, self-reflection and shared ‘leisure time’.
Before a seminar, each participant will receive a booklet with carefully selected readings, and other resources to be used throughout the seminar. You will be given enough time to read and digest these texts.
You will be given access to an exclusive Rising Leaders Fellowship forum, which will help you to stay connected to people from your own and other seminars.
UPCOMING SEMINAR DATES
Participants start the Fellowship by joining a virtual Rising Leaders seminar – these take place throughout the year and you can select the date that is most suitable for you. The Fellowship is competitive, and Aspen UK will not be able to welcome all applicants. If chosen for the Fellowship, we may not always be able to assign your first choice of seminar, as we will curate each cohort to make sure there is real diversity of participants.
